With a background in Systems Engineering and a career spanning large-scale infrastructure and technology programs, Chad has consistently delivered value through his expertise in program management, governance, and process optimization.

His extensive experience includes leading multimillion-dollar projects across various sectors, from rail infrastructure to energy, where his focus on innovation, efficiency, and strategic execution has driven substantial improvements in project delivery and client satisfaction.
Chad’s strengths lie in his ability to integrate advanced engineering solutions with robust managerial practices, making him a pivotal asset in BSCH Rail’s commitment to delivering exceptional rail services. Tsepho Leopeng has built a robust career in the rail industry, combining hands-on experience with leadership in mechanical and electrical engineering. His journey began at Union Carriage & Wagon (UCW), where he gained foundational experience as a time clerk, material chaser, and in the assembly of bogies. Tsepho further honed his skills as a team leader and mechanical fitter at Wictra Holdings, where he led mechanical fitting operations.
His career advanced at Naledi Rail Engineering, where he served as a supervisor overseeing stripping, shot blasting, painting, and mechanical fitting processes. Tsepho’s exposure to international best practices was further enhanced by a work visit to Rail Care Engineering in Wolverton, UK.
Tsepho is dedicated to applying his skills and expertise to advance both the communities he serves and the organization he represents. His comprehensive experience and leadership in mechanical and electrical engineering make him a vital asset to BSCH Rail, ensuring the delivery of top-tier engineering solutions.

Herman Mashika has over 15 years of experience as a mechanical fitter, specializing in mechanical and pipe fitting, painting, and rolling stock fabrication. His career began in 2008 as a coach builder at Union Carriage & Wagon (UCW) in Nigel, where he honed his skills in rolling stock projects before the company transitioned to Alstom.
Herman’s diverse expertise includes roles as a coachbuilder and mechanical fitter for UCW and Partnership, as well as an electrical fitter for the 5MA and 10M4 PRASA fleet. He further contributed to the 15E and 19E locomotives for Transnet, working alongside Toshiba as both an electrical and mechanical fitter. Additionally, Herman played a key role in the body shell erection for the Gautrain project.
As a certified Kaizen continuous improvement and 5S Champion, Herman drives operational excellence at BSCH Rail. His leadership in quality assurance ensures that the company consistently meets the highest standards in fabrication and welding, reinforcing BSCH Rail’s commitment to delivering reliable and top-quality rail services.
